Customer Agreement

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the vehicle rental services provided by 25 Dollar Car Rental. These Terms govern your use of our website, mobile application, and any other platform or service through which we offer our car rental services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

This Customer Agreement is between you and 25 Dollar Car Rental. (“25 Dollar Car Rental”, “we”, “us”, or “our” as applicable), concerning your use of (including any access to) the Services, as defined below and including the Website, App, API and other 25 Dollar Car Rental Materials.

By opening, registering, or using a 25 Dollar Car Rental Account, or by otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by this Customer Agreement and consent to receive communications related to the Services or your 25 Dollar Car Rental Account in electronic format (as set forth in our Electronic Communications Policy - which also provides for E-sign disclosures and consent), and you affirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally capable of entering into this Customer Agreement.   You also agree to comply with the following additional policies and each of the other agreements that apply to you:

Your use of certain of the Services may be subject to additional terms and conditions, as communicated by us to you through the Service or by other means, and such additional terms and conditions are incorporated into this Customer Agreement.

We reserve the right to apply your payment based on our discretion. In general we apply payments based on AICPA standard particularly FIFO

Terms of Use

To have a clear understanding of the conditions and business practices of 25DollarCarRental and the guidelines on how to conduct business with us, please be sure to review our Terms of Use. The use of 25DollarCarRental.com by you the customer, agree that the conditions set forth in this agreement are accepted by you without modification of any of the terms and conditions herein. Your use of this Website constitutes your agreement as a whole. Accepting these terms are legally equivalent of signing a written document. Agreement of these terms are required prior to all purchases on this Website.

Rental Agreement and Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from 25 Dollar Car Rental, you must meet the following requirements:
a. Age: You must be at least 21 years old to rent a compact, midsize, or minivan, and at least 25 years old to rent a 15-passenger van or cargo van. Additional age restrictions may apply based on local regulations.
b. Valid License: You must possess a valid driver's license issued by the appropriate authorities. The license must be presented at the time of rental and remain valid throughout the rental period.
c. Payment: You must provide a valid credit card or approved payment method to secure the rental and cover any additional charges.
d. Rental Agreement: Rental of any vehicle is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the rental agreement, which you must review and sign before taking possession of the vehicle.

Vehicle Availability and Categories

25 Dollar Car Rental offers a variety of vehicle categories for rental, including compact cars, midsize cars, minivans, 15-passenger vans, and cargo vans. Vehicle availability is subject to demand and location-specific inventory. We strive to provide the requested vehicle category, but in rare instances, we may need to substitute with a similar vehicle of equal or greater value.

Rental Period and Extension

The rental period begins at the scheduled pickup time and ends at the designated return time specified in your rental agreement. If you need to extend the rental period, you must contact 25 Dollar Car Rental in advance to make the necessary arrangements. Failure to return the vehicle on time may result in additional charges.

Usage and Prohibited Activities

You agree to use the rented vehicle in a responsible and lawful manner. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
a. Violating traffic laws or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
b. Using the vehicle for any illegal purposes or engaging in any criminal activities.
c. Smoking, vaping, or carrying any pets (unless specifically authorized).
d. Allowing an unauthorized driver to operate the vehicle.
e. Subleasing or lending the vehicle to another party.
f. Overloading the vehicle beyond its specified capacity.

Insurance and Liability

a. Insurance Coverage: Our rental vehicles are covered by basic liability insurance. However, any damage to the vehicle or third-party property, as well as injuries sustained by occupants of the vehicle, may not be fully covered. It is recommended to have additional coverage through your personal insurance or by purchasing optional coverage from 25 Dollar Car Rental.
b. Responsibility for Damage or Loss: You are responsible for any damage to the rented vehicle during the rental period. This includes damage caused by accidents, theft, vandalism, or any other events. You will be charged for the cost of repairs or the value of the vehicle if it is deemed a total loss.
c. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold 25 Dollar Car Rental harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to your use of the rental vehicle.

Reservation Cancellations and Modifications

a. Cancellations: If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify 25 Dollar Car Rental as soon as possible. Cancellation policies may vary based on the reservation details and location. Please refer to your reservation confirmation or contact our customer service for specific cancellation terms.
b. Modifications: If you wish to modify your reservation, such as changing the pickup/drop-off location or extending the rental period, please contact 25 Dollar Car Rental in advance. We will make every effort to accommodate your request based on availability and applicable terms.

Payment and Additional Charges

a. Rental Charges: You agree to pay the rental charges as outlined in your reservation or rental agreement. This includes the base rental rate, additional driver fees (if applicable), mileage charges (if applicable), fuel charges, and any other applicable taxes, fees, or surcharges.
b. Security Deposit: A security deposit or pre-authorization will be required at the time of rental to cover any potential additional charges, such as fuel, tolls, or damages. The deposit amount will be released after the vehicle is returned in acceptable condition.
c. Additional Charges: Any additional charges incurred during the rental period, such as parking fines, traffic violations, or late return fees, will be charged to the credit card on file. 25 Dollar Car Rental reserves the right to charge additional administrative fees for processing such charges.

Termination of Service

25 Dollar Car Rental reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to our car rental services, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms or any illegal or fraudulent activities.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the rental takes place. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court, if eligible, rather than through litigation.

Amendments to the Terms

25 Dollar Car Rental may modify or update these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically for any changes. Continued use of our services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms. By using our car rental services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms of Service. Electronic Communications

When you send us an e-mail, or log into our website at www.25DollarCarRental.com, you are communicating with us in an electronic format. This gives 25DollarCarRental permission to reply back to you in the same electronic format, either by e-mail or text written on our website. Therefore, both parties mutually agree that any agreements, disclosures or notices, contracts or any other communication provided to you by 25DollarCarRental satisfies all legal notification requirements.

Compliance with Applicable Laws

Risk of Loss

Pricing

We cannot confirm the price of an item until you register an account with us online and complete the online ordering process. If a third-party site quotes prices different from www.25DollarCarRental.com, your only course of action is to contact the third-party site to settle any disputes.
